Not that it would be anything great to look forward to replicating 2011, but they did start 11-15 that season as well. So there’s still hope!

Thank you. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing when Collins referred to Valdespin as an off the bench guy. We don’t have Strawberry or Beltran out there blocking his playing time…Cowgill? Please. Byrd? He’s ok but what’s the point in giving him serious PT when we aren’t a contender? This is a rare opportunity to develop young talent and not have to worry about sacrificing wins to do it. Fans aren’t expecting to win this year. Next year it may be too late as we’ll all be expecting bigger things from Harvey, wheeler, d’Arnaud and co. I’m not a huge fan of terry collins as an “in-game” manager either. Get Wally Backman up here.
