Mets Don’t Need New Scapegoat

Now that the Mets cleaned up the dirt, by releasing Luis Castillo and Oliver Perez, something that had to be done, the media is all hyped up with speculation on who the next Mets scapegoat will be.
Just check out the headlines in the New York Post and Daily News today.

NY Daily News: Mets out of scapegoats after releasing Luis Castillo and Ollie Perez, Omar Minaya’s biggest mistakes.

NY Post: With Perez gone, Mets fans need new scapegoats.

Who’s copying who here?
The answer is simple. It will be the next guy who terribly shits the bed.
Let’s move on. I’ll better spend my time focusing on the next guy who surprises, like Ike Davis and Angel Pagan did last year.
Josh Thole? Chris Capuano? Chris Young? Second baseman, whoever that may be?
