What does a child, er or Philliescoach Charlie Manuel do when he’s accused of something? Cry like a bitch and deflect attention by blaming someone else! Doesn’t this remind you of a 5 year old who did something wrong, got caught, then blamed his younger brother.
This is becoming a common occurrence with the Phillies. They’ve been accused of stealing signs multiple times since 2007. Hmmm, that’s when they started to become contenders, sound fishy. Ah, right.
This time it wasn’t the Mets doing the accusing. The cheats got caught red handed in Colorado as one of their coaches got busted for lasering in on the signals from the bullpen with binoculars.
Get this, the Phillies claim he was watching their catcher ‘setting up’ at the plate.
Manuel said Billmeyer was watching Philadelphia catcher Carlos Ruiz set up defensively, but the Rockies didn’t buy it.
Really now, can’t they at least come up with a somewhat believable excuse? So dumb ass Charlie Manuel goes on to say that the MLB should look at the Mets since we have a 4-8 road record, but great at home (14-8).
“Somebody maybe ought to check on the Mets,” Manuel said. “Their home record is out of this world. They’re losing on the road. That’s a good indication sometimes if they’re stealing signs.”
This statement is a good indication of someone that’s done it before, with experience in stealing signs.
Its called home field advantage asshole, the Mets are finally learning how to play at Citi Field. Plus, if we were stealing signs at home, why wouldn’t we steal them on the road too like you guys?
