With the season gone to shit, Mets finally decided to slash ticket prices for the remainder of the season for some, not all games.
This means $180 tickets for $90, and reductions to face value tickets of $150, $138, and $90. What this really means is that even with these reductions, the cheapest ticket of these reduced tickets is still more than $40.
Number one, it’s pretty stupid to not slash prices for all remaining tickets.
Number two, paying $40 to see a shit product on the field is still a fucking rip-off and they’re trying to take Mets fans for assholes. That is still a hefty price tag for a product that’s worse than the Cyclones, leaving you feeling pissed-off after the game.
What any smart, savvy, Mets fan would do is to find tickets in the $5-$10 range, which can easily be done through a scalper (wait till the start of the game), or even find them for that cheap on stub hub.
Or better yet, go see the Cyclones and watch a good game of baseball, then ride the Cyclone, and get yourself a chili-cheese dog at Nathans after the game.

francuear better be careful, he may be next.
Is it just me or has every bad thing for the Mets happened at Citi?
