Citi Field Gets Some Ass, Mets Win in 10!

Mets came out flat last night, probably still hung over from the usual Johan Santana mesmerizing of their own bats in addition to the oppositions.

Something was needed to spark this team and Mike Pelfrey’s best start wasn’t it. The fans were antsy, hungry to cheer, and looking for that one great play to set them off.
Little did anyone know this would come from super fan Craig Coakley. We’ll mention his name because we give props to fans that show ass, granted it was man ass. In a pre-meditated move, super fan disrobed, dipped over the first base rail, and B-lined it to second wearing only a well placed orange towel and some Lets Go Mets paint on his back.
He was safe by a mile, then gave himself up to security in center field no mans land. The best thing was that it was planned and filmed by one of his buddies, who interviews fans about it in the video. You can also hear his friends cheering him on in the video, great stuff. Watch the video here.
That’s all the fans needed to see to get this house and team going. That energy was somehow infused into the team, as Mets made a late comeback to get back on the winning track. Down three nothing, Mets scored two in the eight on a Reyes double, one in the ninth on a Castillo sacrifice after a huge stolen base of third by Beltran, even though he was really out.
But we’ll take it, what goes around comes around, and we know this because there was another HORRIBLE call against us on a David Wright stolen base attempt earlier in the game that CLEARLY showed he was safe. So thanks.

In the tenth, plate discipline won the game as Beltran won it on a walk-off walk!

It must of been a streaker kind of night as one of the hot variety hit Coors Field as well. Exposing a bra, Mardi Gras beads, and a pair of jeans, this chick needed to go g-string and topless.

  1. these are games we should be winning. at least mets have been showing some fight and getting good starting pitching lately.

  3. Feeling an urge to streak across the Triboro bridge after reading this. Nah, I’ll just keep it simple and go to the bodega naked and tell them to check the blog … close enough, right? but I’d be interested in the follow-up, like if after the night in jail (did he spend a night, that’s always the rumor?) if he felt it was worth it.
