Looks like this offseason is basically about seeing if Omar can trade for a closer (Jenks, Putz, Street, Sherrill) in addition to signing one of the many options on the FA market (KRod, Wood, Hoffman, Fuentes).
When we signed Wagner, we paid top dollar for a high caliber rack. When Billy went down, it was as if your girlfriend with the nice rack broke one of her boobs, and only had one left. Not a good situation is the one-boobed girlfriend, let me tell ya.
So yeah, if Omar can, uh, massage his position so that he ends up with, say, Street on the right and Fuentes on the left. That wouldn’t be a bad thing ….
